I’m born and bred in Luton. I will put Luton first. I believe we need a change, we need to have someone representing us who is working for Luton in Westminster, not representing a political party in Luton or caught up in destructive party politics.

Luton South is unique in the country. Since 1951 the people of Luton South have always elected an MP from the party that wins the country. If it’s good for Luton to have an MP from the ruling party, we would be thriving, we should have a better town to live in than anywhere else in the UK. But that isn’t the case. We need better and deserve better.

I will not waste my time focussing on party politics – I will work together with all parties to do what’s best for the people of Luton South. I will have no conflict between party interest and local interest – I will be an ambassador for Luton, speak up and act on a national stage, and vote for Luton every time.

I have a clear focus. To be successful as an independent MP, you need to have a clear focus issue that you are known for, to ensure you can influence debates in Parliament and will be invited to join the right committees where you can make a difference.

I am focussed on unlocking the potential of Luton and places like it through local empowerment. The big change we need throughout politics in this country in order to re-engage people, build communities, and improve Luton and places like it for the long-term.
